Why does building happen in some places and not others? How can you get involved in decisions on the future of housing and development in the Cairngorms National Park? We know that the planning system in the Park can seem complicated and we want to clarify it for you. The Cairngorms National Park Authority and local councils are holding free workshops where you can find out about planning, development and housing in the Cairngorms National Park. Staff will be there to answer your questions. People have strong views on what should and shouldn't happen in a National Park. These workshops are an opportunity to find out how and when you can get involved in shaping development in the Park. This includes individual planning applications, consultations on policies and the roles of the Park Authority and the local councils.
